I am currently in Rochester Minnesota receiving some treatments. I am new to fly fishing and with a lot of down time i would really like to get some lessons casting, and tying, and everything i can i guess. I am also willing to do some driving if need be.

I know most boats keep any fish caught but I would like to locate one that allows me to keep most/some of the fish I catch and have it shipped home. Is this possible? Expensive?

I also have been looking at an Edgewater 318cc because it is a little cheaper. I heard that the boston whaler will beat you up a little. Is that true?
